Batwing twin 50mm and twin 64mm with retracts

If you show up to the field with this scale bat wing that can actually fly around. It will leave people speechless. I’ve been working on this design on and off for the last 15 years. While it may be a small step back from my twin 40 mm version. It’s a huge leap forward being very scale and having so many cool design features. This bat wing is by far the easiest to hand launch. It’s still porpoises like my other bat wings maybe slightly more than the twin 40 mm. The flight characteristics are good. Due to the extremely low wing loading, it will float in for landings like you can’t believe. you can attempt to fly it without a flight controller or a Gyro. I highly recommend using the exact Setup that I use. You will need proper battery capacity and weight to achieve the correct CG. You will need to run the proper amount of up trim or reflex on the elevons. (36mm). To make it fly correctly. I highly recommend using spectrum‘s AR 630+ or better receiver and just fly it in safe mode. 50mm length 35.5”, width 41” 50mm all up flying weight 1,984g 64mm length 45.5”, width 52.5” 64mm with retracts all up flying weight 3,974g
