psy-cho_90mm_150_mph_jet_aircraft_image_1

The Psy-cho Jet weighs 5.5lbs and has 12+ lbs of thrust! Its quick and easy to print. Super simple to assemble and flies really easy until you press the throttle forward. This is a VERY high performance jet designed to carve up the sky like nothing you've flown.

This is not a toy. You should have some fast EDF jet experience before you fly this. I recommend taking full care and please be responsible. Printer or builder error could cause a catastrophic crash. Use good judgement like any other high speed airframe.

Parts Needed

I'll link the parts I used in my build to achieve 150+ mph

Any 90mm https://www.motionrc.com/products/freewing-90mm-12-blade-edf-8s-power-system-w-4075-1350kv-inrunner-motor-e72215
120+ amp ESC https://www.motionrc.com/products/freewing-120a-esc-with-8a-bec-and-reverse-thrust-function-102d002001
Any quality 17g servo MG https://a.co/d/gK7bKTB
Any 10mm carbon spar 500-570mm will work fine https://a.co/d/d5GOcjA
any 4-5000mah 8s lipo.I used https://www.smc-racing.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=67_211&product_id=765
2mm pushrod https://a.co/d/h0VjZ6M
CA glue to build the airframe
Hot glue for the EDF and Servos and thrust tube
Velcro (two strips) for the battery and ESC

Assembly tips:
1. Use enough medium CA glue for all the butt joints. dont skimp on this one. After the joints area all dry, go over every seam and put a small bead in every crack to ensure a solid joint.
2. Use 4-6 decent size servo screws to screw the EDF into the cradle. After its secure use quality hot glue around the edf where it comes in contact with the cradle. Around the mounting tabs and along the sides.
3. Thrust tube should be hot glued onto the fan. Apply the glue around every surface that touches the fan. even underneath.

Pre flight info:
1. I suggest you have a friend throw it for you first or use a flight controller. the plane is flown slightly nose heavy for stability, also the thrust angle may push the nose down slightly on launch so be prepared. I really like hand launching on safe mode.
2. Use 30-40 % expo on roll and maybe 5-10% on pitch. Fly it smooth.
