This project was by far the most enjoyable to date next to my NGAD. Modeling the design was a blast, the assembly was fun because of the crazy shape, then the maiden flight you must have seen. The TwinTrex just took right off! only minor adjustments were needed to make this thing absolutely perfect. CG was dialed in and the fuselage was adjusted, Thomas Heuer did a fantastic job on all the wonderful refinements he made. He made the elevator larger and easier to assemble and did many cosmetic changes. The TwinTrex can take off from almost all surfaces! i havent been able to test it on thick summer grass since its frozen winter now. It takes off from water, unkept surfaces, snow, ice and i'm sure pavement. Differential thrust makes this come alive with personality. Its easier to fly than ANY large manufacturer RC plane i've ever flown. It absolutely does not need any flight stabilization unless you prefer it. Honestly its as good as an aeroscout for just doing take offs and landings on any surface. I absolutely love it.
