Wow guys, I never thought this style airframe would translate well to RC but I was pleasantly surprised it really did. I would place this airframe in the beginner to intermediate category for its flying characteristics. Throwing it isn't hard because its large. So not a beginner plane to hand launch. Once its flying its a solid beginner jet.
26" wingspan
84" long with the nose on roughly 60" long with the removable nose off.
Parts Needed:
I used the FMS 70mm pro 6s fan with a 80 amp ESC
4x 9g servos
long Servo extension wires
1.2mm pushrods
Hot glue for the fan / servos
velcro for the battery and ESC.
2 Y splitters for the servos. I run the setup as dual elevons. You can use the wing surfaces as ailerons and the rear surfaces as tailerons.
(3x) 8mmODx 105mm carbon tubes for the removable nose.
small rubber bands.
