This is very different from me! prop planes aren't really my style but I must say, I'm now a believer. This thing floats and flies incredibly well. This plane in my option beats the fun jets flight characteristics. Here is my reasoning.

  1. Doesn't torque roll on hand launch
  2. doesnt drop the nose while doing low speed turns
  3. tracks better
  4. larger canopy area
  5. floats in for landings
  6. larger control surfaces for more maneuverability.
  7. fun jet may be slightly more slippery (untested)

finished flying weight between 600-700g
length 39"
width 30"

Items needed.
I personally used this motor https://graysonhobby.com/gh-micro-jet-v3-brushless-outrunner-motor.html
anything 2200kv , 3s is fine

6x4 prop or near that. much larger may not clear the vertical tail. you can always cut a notch if needed.

1000-2200 3s recommended
2x 9g servos https://a.co/d/4BFNn1N
