NASA designed the X-36 to be a tailless fighter agility research vehicle. I always loved how it looked and wanted the challenge to make it fly. The vertical tail version flies very well! super agile and has very light wing loading. The build is very easy. It hand launches very easily and flies with a very unique character. I would say this plane is an intermediate and above. If you run a gyro or flight stabilizer its can be a beginner plane because of the slow speed abilities.

I also included the tailless version also for those who want to modify the plane or fly it with a gyro.

The X-36 uses a:
Powerfun 50mm edf and a 40 amp ESC (any EDF should work)
4s battery 1300-2200.
2x 9g servos
velcro for the battery
hot glue for the EDF
CA glue to glue all the parts together
2x 10mm magents

the X-36 weighs 640g AUW

Pre Flight deflection
